Dave's generational family run farm has a long history of growing watermelons. He was one of the original black watermelon growers on the west coast of the United States.
As one of the most experienced growers of black watermelons, he's experimented with several different varieties over the years on a pursuit to find the best tasting melons.
Dave grows only the best tasting varieties known for their exceptional sweetness and vibrant red flesh.

Each melon is left on the vine to ripen and hand-picked at it's peak, ensuring optimal flavor development and texture. It's a labor-intensive process that is undertaken with joy, knowing that the end result will be a slice that lingers long after the last bite.

Dave's farm is only a short distance from the Sacramento River. Nurtured by the rich nutrient-dense soil and abundance of water, his farm has an ideal microclimate to grow the best watermelons.
Hot days and cool nights along the Sacramento River have led to one of the best tasting watermelons around. This tension heightens the sugar levels to unrivaled amounts.
